In 1981, Pastors Kyle Binion and Sarah Binion held a service in a small church building in Cappell, Maddocha.  The word of God was shared.  This was the beginning of Grace Valley Christian Church.

Two years later, the church attendance had grown to 200. The services were moved to the South Park Recreation Center. In 1988, the church was moved to its current location, 2711 South Blvd. This building would hold 1,000 people.  The attendance has far exceeded that.  A new facility is currently being built at 7387 Market Street.  This building will seat 10,000 people. With the help of the Lord and the membership, the building will be complete in April of 2004.

At the core of that vision is a heart to reach the city of Cappell and beyond with the life-transforming love of Jesus Christ.  It's a vision more and more individuals each week are making their own by becoming a part of the exciting and close-knit family at Grace Valley Christian Center.
